Newton has programs for different experience levels. Make sure you're applying for the right one to get the most out of the program and to be able to engage with your cohort.

Using Applied
We use Applied, a blind hiring tool. This helps reduce unconscious bias and you are assessed on ability and motivation alongside key values, rather than your previous experience and education.
Applied will ask for you for information on your background and identity. This data is not used as part of your application but it really helps us with our mission.
Please fill in this data. It keeps us accountable and intentional.
Language
We're not assessing your language level - native English is not mandatory!
Newton is a global community with many different nationalities and languages, so, we don't expect you to have native level English to apply.
If you want help with your grammar and spelling, we recommend using Grammarly or a similar tool such as ChatGPT.
However!
We want to hear your answers, not ChatGPT’s or any other AI tool. The people who do best in their applications communicate their personal motivation, ambition and values.
We get a lot of generic answers because of AI, which doesn’t help us to understand if you’re the right fit. So, use AI to tidy up your answers if you wish, but don’t let it speak for you!

Our hiring tool reviews each question separately so we can compare like with like. Therefore, answer each question in isolation as we will not be able to see any link between answers to your previous questions.

Apply before the deadline
Make sure you beat the deadline to apply. To ensure a fair process for everyone, once the deadline has passed we cannot accept any more applications.
Don’t leave it until last minute. If your tech fails and you can’t submit in time, we can’t accept your application.
