First VC Fellowship graduates

Meet Newton's first VC Fellowship graduates 🚀

We are proud to present our 2022 Newton Venture Program VC Fellowship graduates 🎓

Over the course of six months, 37 incredible people came together to learn, to share and ultimately to challenge themselves.

Our fellows are founding partners, analysts, principals, chief technology officers, founders, behavioural scientists, fund controllers and so much more across the ecosystem. Coming from 9 different countries, representing 18 nationalities and with 51% identifying as female, the NVPxLBS01 cohort is the future of venture capital.

These changemakers have come to a pivotal moment in time as they become the next generation of investors that represent the world that we live in.

The VC Fellowship

Newton Venture Program is a joint venture between LocalGlobe VC and London Business School, with Silicon Valley Bank joining as a founding member. The VC Fellowship is for existing practitioners with aspirations to progress their careers within the VC and entrepreneurial ecosystems. It supports current venture investors looking to advance their careers, new general partners on their first fund cycle, experienced entrepreneurs and operators, and deep subject matter experts.

This inaugural cohort has taken a deep dive into the fundamentals behind venture capital and for many, have been introduced to new topics such as fundraising, limited partners, the future of tech, and building partnerships.

What’s transpired is an energised, supportive and motivated group of professionals who will support each other in their next steps, playing a key role in disrupting the ecosystem.
